I’ve never thought of it before, but you’re right. Where did Hamburgler go? McDonalds was for kids but now it’s where we’re all supposed to go… this said, it’s probably a good thing not to be advertising fast food to children, but this isn’t in line with the media’s attitude to these things. Or maybe it’s just that what appeals to kids has changed – they used to appreciate the Hamburgler, but now, if it’s not cool and trendy, it’s not going to sell.

Also, that other advert is disturbing!

That’s just a way to maintain my children being anonymous on the web. In day to day life I can’t keep track of their names. After I call them by 2 or 3 different names, I end with
“whichever kid you are.”

Ewwww. Maybe I’m old-fashioned and cranky, but that girl Ronald McDonald made me feel sick. That just seems wrong.

I hate to admit that I’m a huge fan of McDonald’s food, tho I would never actually eat in one of the restaurants (absolutely only for kids). I know it’s dirty and greasy and gross, but I heart Big Macs.
