… I finally signed up to sell on Etsy. I know some of you have been on there forever, but eBay had been keeping me very busy up until the end of June. Every year, however things slow down in midsummer when the retail season kind of dwindles into a trickle of a few sales here and there until the start of the Holiday season sometime around the end of August.
Up until a couple months ago, I wasn’t sure I had enough inventory to split the time between eBay and Etsy. However, as I found myself selling more vintage charms- I started accumulating quite a few duplicate charms in my inventory. So instead of letting these charms gather dust waiting to sell on eBay, I thought I would start listing a few on Etsy.
The fees are really attractive on Etsy at just a small fraction of what I am being charged on eBay and I love the more personal and homey feel of the Etsy community. By the end of the week- I hope to have my store completely set up, learn the ropes, meet a few other sellers and then update you all on my progress and share the link to my new store on Etsy. So until then you’ll find me over at Etsy trying not to look like such a newbie…
Wish Me Luck- I’m Excited!
Michelle

Good Luck setting up your store on Etsy!!
I would love a vintage charm necklace [or bracelet] made up entirely love vintage typewriter keys!
Thanks for the good luck wishes- Meleah… I saw a vintage typewriter in a thrift store awhile back and they wanted a lot of money for it. Presumably because they knew people wanted the keys.
I have an old typewriter. NO ONE IS GETTING THE KEYS! I did my first newsletter on it. I’m preserving it for history.
Hmmm I wonder if there has ever been a typewriter jacking?
Plastic, square keys. You wouldn’t want them. Move along, move along.
You talk like a Jedi but I know you’re not. I’ll just walk away from the typewriter because what I really want is the dingbot!!!!!
I don’t have the dingbot you are looking for. Move along.
You know Dan – the dark side has cookies…
The good side has apples, and those are better for you than cookies.
That’s not what Adam and Eve said- are you sure you aren’t Satan?
I think maybe Adam and Eve ate a pomegranate, not an apple.
Well definitely good luck…I hope to see you selling lots of stuff:)
