My mother is still in town vacationing with us until just after the New Year. So until she leaves you won’t be hearing from me on here, but I didn’t want you all guessing as to whether or not I was dead (as in dead blog) or had disappeared.
Here is a picture of me sitting on Santa Claus’ lap taken on Christmas Eve morning with two of my five children. I think it proves that I am still around and that I am not on the naughty list as some of you might think.
I hope your Christmas was as wonderful as mine and I will see you in the new year. I find it amazing that it will be a new decade as well!

Love the “not dead” tag. I got an email Monday asking me if Festivus had killed me, so I figured I should blog.
