In keeping with the Halloween theme this week, we have Errol Flynn, circa 1950 showing what the well dressed in Hollywood might wear as a costume. Gentlemen are sporting three piece suits, with tie, a small carnation in a button hole, all topped with a jaunty straw a hat. Forget frightful costumes or silly clowns this Halloween, let’s take a page out the past for a more genteel night of Halloween revelry !
Ladies are all dolled up in petticoats, hats, gloves and of course a parasol to keep the sun off delicate skin.
Everyone looks so perfect, not a hair out of place- but why does Errol looks so frightened?

Goodness! Now I don’t feel like I look so bad without makeup! I am fascinated with all of their eyebrows too!
Bob Mitchum doesn’t seem to be too happy about it or Errol… but Burt Lancaster seems to be pretty darn happy dragging it up!
Could be worse. They could have been wearing mankinis.
Dan- How do you know about these so called mankinis?
It’s a common topic on another forum you’re a member of.
Boy I must be missing something- since when is this a frequent topic and where?
