Still basking in the glow of a fabulous Halloween- filled with lots of treats, my Music Monday pick is Louis Prima and Keely Smith singing That Ol’ Black Magic. In 1959, the duo (who were married to each other) were awarded the first-ever Grammy Award for Best Performance by a Vocal Group or Chorus for the song “That Ol’ Black Magic.”

Well speak of the devil!
Speedy says you has cheese. So, I risked re-entering what is becoming the heart of darkness in the blogosphere–what with the black magic and dead celebrities and digging up graves and such–to seek out some good cheese. To paraphrase Clara Peller: “Where’s the cheese!?”
