We finally have some snow on the ground here in southeastern Wisconsin. It snowed about 2 to 3 inches last night and we are expecting another 8 to 12 inches sometime tomorrow, which is a little more then I care for. In December, the snow is magical and much anticipated, but by the middle of March it’s a whole other story.
If this stays around which it most likely will, it looks like we’ll have our White Christmas… here’s our Music Monday pick- White Christmas as sung by Bing Crosby.

Im not thrilled with snow either, but I do LOVE that song!
Hi Meleah- looks like we may have closed schools tomorrow… the kids do love that.
I would love a white Christmas one of these days, but the closest thing we’ve ever had here is a very thick frost. I love that song too… I only have to read the title and I’m feeling all cosy and Christmassy!
We have rain. Might be mixed with snow later and tomorrow.
Jenny- have you ever seen snow? Do they get snow in London? I have no idea-what it’s like in the UK- have always wanted to travel there.
Well- Dan they closed the schools here, we have our first official snow day this season- probably the first of many.
We watch this movie every year as a tradition. I love Bing!

Yes, we get snow, but not very often, and usually not very much of it. We had a lot (by our standards but probably not by yours!) last year and everyone got very excited and everything shut down for a couple of days! That was fun! But I’ve never seen any at Christmas time.
Jenny I remember that now- I felt obliged to send you some pictures of snow in Wisconsin after you posted about getting a snow day for that little dusting you got in London.

Ah, that’s right! I remember now… clearly I blocked it out so I could pretend that we’d still had A LOT of snow!
Classic song. What an era of music. I think christmas isnt the same without snow.
