Some of you on Facebook may be scratching your heads wondering why all your “friends” are looking younger then ever or at least why their profile pictures are looking younger. Another FB meme has been going around this week and this one reads:
Its WAY BACK WEEK! RETRO RETRO RETRO RETRO. Change your profile pic to a throwback picture of yourself when you were younger. Copy and paste this on your profile.
I haven’t posted a picture of me in my younger days yet, but it sure got me looking through my old scrapbooks and photo albums. There were so many wonderful memories and things I forgot like this cake for my 7th Birthday. Do you recognize the man on my cake?
Yep- it’s Arthur Fonzarelli and I had a crush on him when I was seven.I love how the little frosting picture of Fonzi is saying, “Aaaay!” Too funny!
So here I am at seven, crushing on Fonzi with no teeth in front and that is my bear Toto… Don’t say nothing about the bear or I will hurt you (this means you Dan or Speedcat).
Don’t let the yellow color confuse you with a silly, old bear stuffed with fluff. As you can see- me and the bear are still real tight… and Toto is actually a mixed martial arts, cage fighter at night when he is not doing duty as my bodyguard.
Anyway- I won’t bore you with a lot more pictures of me with no teeth or bad taste in men. I also had a crush on Detective Wojciehowicz from Barney Miller when I was four, but enough scary details about me.

I haven’t done the Facebook thing yet but that may be because I have yet to scan in any of the nice photos my mom gave me of my youth. I should get on that. The Fonzi cake is hilarious!
I must say, that Fonzi Cake is memorable. I just baked up a Strawberry Shortcake for my grand-daughter’s 7th birthday in November. What was really ironic about it was, my daughter (her mother) Michele had a Strawberry Shortcake party when she was growing up too!!!

I think the toothless picture of you would be just perfect though. I think everyone I know has a toothless picture in their draw somewhere. It’s all relative you know:)

Louise- I will have to check out the blog you suggested. My daughter loves Strawberry Shortcake- she is 3, but I think I might have been too old for Strawberry myself. I didn’t care for FB at first, but it has definitely grown on me. I like to keep in touch with my family on there.
Dan- Toto’s nose got ripped off in a vicious fight against Mikey Rourke and about the pants… I asked him to put on pants but he said, “HEY woman- I don’t tell you how to dress!”
That was the end of that.
Your bear sounds like a bully. The Internet has a no tolerance policy for bear bullying.

I am sorry to hear that about the spam- I have akismet on my blog and it really controls the spam. Unfortunately blogspot blogs don’t have that flexibility… I used to have several blog on that platform though and I love how easy it is to use. Well whatever makes things easier for you as far as spam control, because it is a huge problem and I am glad you stopped by.
