Here’s a great vintage style video from the Squirrel Nut Zippers – Ghost of Stephen Foster. My husband showed this video to my six year old this weekend and he must of watched it 100 times… Enjoy!

Makes me think of the old black-and-white cartoons that used to come on early in the mornings before school. Casper and Popeye and… I can’t remember the others now.
I think Woody Woodpecker may have been in black and white. When I was a kid, when It was raining or nasty out, we would watch old black and white films at recess instead of playing outside. They showed black and white cartoons and sometimes Laurel & Hardy.
It’s great that kids still enjoy things like this now. I heard something today about Enid Blyton being adapted for modern-day children, but I don’t think we give kids enough credit – they can still enjoy the things older generations enjoyed – we just have to let them see it and make their own judgement.
Here is a snippet about the video:

I think I read that it came out in 1999.
