The love story of a child and a worm. Hasbro Romper Room Inchworm

I figure everyone is still basking in the joys of a lazy July 4th weekend, so I will keep the blogging short and sweet. Remember this classic ride on toy from the 1970′s.  This should make you all warm and fuzzy feeling all over. It’s the Hasbro Romper Room Inchworm! The cool thing about inchworm was the way you had to bounce up and down to propel inchworm forward.

Inchworm I love you!

Here’s the commercial for Inchworm from the mid 1970′s – unfortunately it’s a little dark.

If it’s 3-foot long, can it still be called an Inchworm?

Worms. So close to a child’s heart. Why just the other day I was asked if I could add worms to spaghetti bolognese. I declined, claiming they were nicer barbeque’d. I hope she doesn’t remember this, next time we have a barbeque.

I like my worms heavily sauced myself. Thanks for dropping in :)

I heard about the inchworm before but I have never seen it until this moment. Is that called an inchworm because it moves inch by inch every time you bounce it up and down? Anyway, it looks really cute. I hope I could one for my nephews. I’m certain they’re gonna love it.
