Baby Bracelets

I am writing this as my head throbs and aches… I have had a head cold now for over a week. Every morning I wake up thinking this is the day I am going to turn the corner and yet nothing happens to make me feel any better…

Two weeks ago, while I was knee deep in taxes I had a bunch of great ideas for blog posts.  Now with this head cold I can hardly read a paragraph out of my library book picks without having to start over and reread what I just read. Funny how a little head cold makes a person really discombobulated. And so I have decided it is best if I don’t try to write much on here, lest I be embarrassed later. Of course that has never stopped me from posting before- that is the risk of embarrassment has never stopped me from writing on here before but that’s another story.

Despite my head cold- I have managed to keep up with listing new items in my ETSY store. For the most part I just snap pictures of vintage jewelry and then write up a brief description.  It’s not rocket science and it’s kind of fun. Last week, while I was taking pictures of some vintage bracelets, my three year old daughter said, “hold on Mom,” before taking off upstairs to the boy’s bedrooms.

Above me I could hear her rummaging through the toy boxes, so I continued to take pictures. She was up there for a long time , so I figured she got distracted up there by all the toys and had forgot about whatever it was she wanted to tell me. After a few more minutes of digging through the toys boxes, she returned downstairs with some of the plastic rings from an old baby gym. She then placed them on my back drop and told me to take a picture of the rings.

Here are the pictures I took for her. I thought it was neat how she thought they looked like the bracelets I was taking pictures of for product shots and I thought it was sweet how she wanted to help me work. On the other hand, it also made me wonder if I helping to fuel an early jewelry addiction…

Senja shows what’s hot in stack-able bracelets for three year old and under crowd.

This is interesting, but where’d you hide the Facebook login? ;)

    HUH?

Sorry, I probably shouldn’t have pestered you when you’ve got a head cold. Revisit this when you’re feeling better.

The short of it is that some people had problems logging into Facebook recently.

Really I haven’t had a problem logging on, I have had problems chatting with some of my cousins on there and finding things… but I chalked it up to the new facebook lay out over haul. (which I don’t care for).

See, the thing is, you were probably actually on Facebook when you tried to login…

Bummer. Busted by moderation… Must be why Speedy doesn’t change things up over here.

Hmm I was just looking through my spam for the first time in a long time and there was this spammer leaving me Michael Jackson jokes… how entertaining. or. not.

I pulled your other comment out of moderation and approved it- but now I don’t see it??? Sometimes my blogs vigilance frightens even me… I suspect one day it will start moderating me. At that point I will give up blogging altogether and take up permanent residence as the troll on your blog. MU HA HA HA !

Mine already moderates me. There are times when I’ll leave a comment and it won’t show up. And then I have to go and login and approve it.

Plus, I don’t like it when my blog tells me I am leaving comments too quickly.

Sorry what was that- we are all on FB tonight… but what’s that you can’t log in. :P

Well, when I went on FB, you weren’t there. I was, however, on TM for much of the day. What’s TM?, you ask? Well, I sent you an invite.

Oops – I thought I commented on this ages ago but I seem to have forgotten to! It’s lovely that Senja made the connection and had such a well thought out plan to go and retrieve the rings. I can see what she means too – they do look kind of similar.

Two things that help me with sinus and headaches. I drink pineapple juice every 2 hours when I am a wake and when I go to the bathroom at night I get a drink of water. The helps bring down inflammation and also, flushes everything out of your system. I hope you feel better soon.
