The War Has Begun… Gimme Me a Break~ You Whiny eBay Sellers!

Is it just me or is every seller on eBay whining about the new feedback policy. Big Deal- so we can’t slap buyers back! eBay instituted a new no negative feedback policy for buyers in May. Now when I browse through looking to buy- half the sellers on eBay feel the need to say something about the new policy.

Last week, I bought something from some chick who had on her auction listings something along the lines of-

“eBay is making it harder and harder for sellers on here. Something, something, blah, blah. New feedback policy. IT HAS ALREADY BEGUN!”

Yes- I took a very liberal approach at paraphrasing her listing tirade because it was basically three or four paragraphs of nonsense! I have nothing personal against this seller or any of the others. I must say though it saps the joy out of buying junk on eBay- when the bidder had to read a screen page of tirades and seller policies before getting to the actual auction!

“IT HAS ALREADY BEGUN!” I believe those are the words spoken before an alien invasion in old horror movies- not in bidding wars. eBay seller’s give your buyer’s a break from the massive amounts of eBay bashing banter on your listings. 99.7% of us just want to have fun buying your old used crap. Save your rants for when the Martians really do try to take over.
